Book your Appointment through SystmOnline

SystmOnline is available to ALL our registered patients.  Once registered, you can book your appointment(s) online. If you're already registered,   click on the link at the top of this page to book your appointment.

Telephone Patient Line 01642 851177

If you are registered you can make routine appointments on line or you can make an appointment with any of our clinical team  either by telephone, or in person. Wherever possible book a routine appointment - we try to ensure that there is not too long a wait for the next available appointment with the clinician of your choice.

Please be aware that many of our GPs work part time so will not always be available on a day that is convenient for you.  If the clinician of your choice is unavailable then you may wish to book with the one of the other team members.

Urgent Problems

If you feel your problem requires attention the same day, then you should consider the following options;

Nurse Practitioner Appointment

There is a nurse Practitioner with extended prescribing qualifications who is available at short notice to deal with acute illnesses, eg ear infections, respiratory infections, minor injuries etc. They may also be able to provide a prescription if required.

We would need to treat if clinically necessary eg post op wound infection

Urgent Doctor Appointment

The Duty Doctor will see patients requiring same day attention.  These appointments are shorter than normal appointments.  The GP will deal with the urgent problem only in this appointment. This allows us to meet the urgent need on the same day for you.  Please remember that these appointments are to be used for urgent medical problems only.

Please telephone reception before 10:00 if you require a home visit, wherever possible.

Our GP's will only visit housebound patients or those who are too ill to visit the practice.

Please note that the GP will ring you back to assess the need for a visit further before they come out to see you.

Your GP will ONLY visit you at home if they think that your medical condition requires it.  They will also decide how urgently a visit is needed.

You can also be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred to the community nursing team by your GP.

You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years old.
